Lawyer validation for AI agents

A real solicitor in the loop, before your agent commits to a legal answer.

Taliara is a validation service for AI agents handling legal questions in UK commercial contracts, IP, data protection and AI regulation. Your agent escalates uncertain questions via SDK, REST or MCP. A qualified human reviews and responds. Your agent continues with a structured, audited answer.

AI agents are confidently wrong about the law.

Hallucinated case law. Stale statutes. Cross-border confusion. When your agent handles contracts, terms, policies or regulatory questions, your customer pays the cost of a wrong answer — and increasingly, so do you. Internal review doesn’t scale, and most legal vendors aren’t built to be called by a machine.

A qualified solicitor reviews

Every in-scope request is reviewed by a qualified human solicitor. No AI impersonating a lawyer.

Built for agents, not humans

Structured JSON in, structured JSON out. A TypeScript SDK and an MCP server, so any MCP-aware agent can call us with no glue code.

Audited and tenant-isolated

Every interaction is immutably logged and exportable. Row-level tenant isolation. UK data processing.

How it works

Four steps from agent uncertainty to validated answer.

  1. 01

    Your agent escalates

Drop the Taliara SDK or MCP server into your agent. When confidence drops or a sensitive action is about to commit, it calls submit_validation_request.

  2. 02

    Triage filters scope

A rules-driven triage layer accepts requests in the jurisdictions and domains we cover (England & Wales, Scotland; commercial, IP, data, AI regulatory) and declines the rest with a referral reason.

  3. 03

    A solicitor responds

The request lands in the reviewer queue. A qualified solicitor reviews the facts, drafts a structured answer with caveats, and submits.

  4. 04

    Your agent continues

The validated answer is delivered by webhook or polled by the SDK. It arrives with rationale, caveats, a validator ID and a link to the audit record.
